The weight divisions for boxing at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games have been confirmed in October, with seven weight divisions for both men and women.

A full list of the confirmed weight divisions can be found here

Boxing Australia has been allocated a total of eight (8) quota spots for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. We have been working closely with the AIS data team to assist in identifying the priority weight divisions based on the information currently available.

We can now confirm the priority weight divisions:

  1. Women 70kg
  2. Women 75kg
  3. Men 80kg
  4. Men 90kg
  5. Men 55kg
  6. Women 54kg
  7. Men 65kg
  8. Women 65kg

At this time, due to insufficient data to effectively differentiate between the remaining weight divisions, the final quota position will be determined following the Selection Event early next year.

We also ask that everyone please understand and acknowledge that we are fortunate to have a Commonwealth Games scheduled, and that boxing remains one of the sports included on the program. This provides a valuable opportunity for our athletes and the sport as a whole.

Further updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
