Boxing Australia Announces Departure of Chief Executive Officer

Boxing Australia announced that Chief Executive Officer Dinah Glykidis departed the organisation on 26 June 2026 following a period of dedicated leadership and contribution to the sport nationally.
Since commencing in the role, Ms Glykidis has played an important role in strengthening Boxing Australia’s operations, governance, athlete pathways, and stakeholder engagement during a significant period for the sport.
Boxing Australia President Mr Phillip Goodes thanked Ms Glykidis for her commitment and leadership.
“Dinah has made a valuable contribution to Boxing Australia and to the continued growth and professionalism of our sport,” Mr Goodes said.
“On behalf of the Board and the broader boxing community, we thank Dinah for her dedication and wish her every success in her future endeavours.”
Ms Glykidis said it had been a privilege to lead the organisation.
“It has been an honour to work alongside our athletes, coaches, staff, volunteers, member associations and partners in supporting boxing across Australia,” Ms Glykidis said.
“I am proud of what has been achieved during my time with Boxing Australia and look forward to seeing the sport continue to grow and succeed in the years ahead.”
Boxing Australia will commence a recruitment process for a new Chief Executive Officer in due course.
