Camp Report - BAL Regional Development Camp Loddon Malle Region (VIC) 30-31 July

The Boxing Australia Development Program has again gone from strength to strength in Victoria this year with a second new region in country Victoria established receiving the the BAL content for the first time. 

Hosted at Swan Hill Boxing Club, Loddon Mallee clubs Fighting Fit Boxing Mildura and Warracknabeal Boxing Club also participated in the camp with a total of 22 athletes and 7 coaches.

The majority of athletes at the adolescent age of 11 - 19 and at the novice intermediate stage of development. Coaches and athletes took away valuable new ideas and terminology to utilize in their clubs.

The cooperation of the group was impressive, they were very eager to learn and particularly the coaches were re-energised with new ideas.

It may be surprising but I identified the stand out to be Patty McWilliams 11 years old who mastered most techniques as well as anyone in the camp.
