NT Development Camp Report ; 21-22 August

On the weekend of 21-22 August National Regional Development Coach Jamie Pittman presented a Regional Development Camp in Darwin with the support of NT Development Coach Coach Gavin Coehn.

There was a fantastic turnout with 17 boxers and 4 coaches attending the camp.

11 of the 17 boxers were 10 years of age and showed great talent in adapting to the Boxing Australia content over the 2 days.

Former Olympian James Swan attended the first session of the camp and now trains several boxers. James was introduced to the boxers and explained his achievements in boxing and the importance of setting goals and chasing dreams at a young age.

Boxing Australia Life Member, Coach Boyd Scully, also attended the first session of the development camp and was happy with the numbers especially with the younger boxers.

Coach Jamie Pittman identified Tate Stewart as a standout.
