Selection Criteria for Australian Team to 2023 IBA Men’s and Women’s Elite World Championships

The 2022 Elite Australian Championships to be conducted 16-19 November in Adelaide, will be pivotal in determining selection of the Australian Team to the IBA Men’s and Women’s Elite World Championships. Please note that a boxer does NOT automatically make the team if he or she ‘wins’ their weight category at the Australian Championships.

The members of the Team Selection Panel consists of the CombatAUS National Technical Lead Santiago Nieva, Boxing Australia National Coach Jamie Pittman, Chair of the BAL Selection Committee Phillip Goodes, CombatAUS High Performance Director Andrew Pratley and one additional Boxing Coach (to be confirmed).
